Recommended hanging height is above head height of individual. There are 8 pot hooks, however this can be semi-custom to suit your needs for hanging height in the space you are intending to place the rack.

3. Do you have recommendations on how high to hang the pot rack off of a counter top so that the pots/pans don't hang too low? We have an 8' ceiling, thinking it may have to mount right to the ceiling?
